FUN

This weeks prompt at IMT is fun! I thought about it a bit and decided that no matter how hard we work we must ALWAYS remember to "slip in" some fun!

DNA

I really enjoyed this weeks Inspire Me Thursday. The theme was DNA. I just LOVE medical thrillers and especially Robin Cook's books. I attempted to create a book cover.

Rocking Girl Blogger Award

What a great surprise I got as I read one of the comments to my Dear Diary entry for inspire me thursday. Lea passed the rocking girl blogger award on to me, The Heartful Blogger and Suzan. Thanks SO MUCH Lea, it's really great to receive some recognition.

I'm passing this one on to Bonnie, a fellow designer at Snap and Scrap. I just love reading your blog Bonnie. I love the wide variety of art and crafts as well as your STUNNING freebies.

Roberta Ferguson started the rocking girl blogger, and I think it's a great way to spread some love.

Have a great day.
Hugs.
Landi.

August desktop calendar

I thought I'd share this desktop calendar quickpage with you. It was made with my Office Party kit.

Here's how mine turned out.

Dear Diary

This weeks challenge at Inspire me Thursday is diaries. At first I thought, "you know what this one isn't for me because I just don't keep any diary". Then I realised that I actually do. Well except for this blog my scrapbook layouts are definitely a very visual library of what happens in our lives.

Office Party

Hey all, you're invited to my office party. Come on over for some fun. Hehe - this is the previews for my new kit available here.

Our day yesterday

If I've been mia for the past day or two, here's the reason. DH phoned me last night to tell me about the accident he's been involved with on the way home. A car came rolling from the other side of the highway into him!! From the moment I got the call the only thing I wanted to do was to be with him and be happy about the fact that it could have been so much different but wasn't.

By God's grace he wasn't hurt and the damage isn't too much. A split second and it could have been so much different!

Here's what his car looks like:

We are lucky because his company rented him a Toyota Yaris that I really like. The boy's commens were just precious. Clinton loved the idea that his dad "took out" a car in the same way as we take out library books and the car even has a barcode to be scanned (same as the books).

Donovan decided that this car looks a lot like mommies car (Polo playa) so his dad got a mommy car to drive with.
